The notion that a state of vulnerability leads to an increased sensitivity state and the potential to feel pain is mooted and discussed here.  Over the years, explaining this simple idea combined with the use of basic graphs to illustrate have helped many patients to understand their situation and the task ahead.  I’ll be delving into this in more detail in my book…..
